This item has worked great so far. Pleanty of plug-ins for the whole family to use laptops etc.

What's great about it: 4 Wide spaced plugs. Safety plug cover built in.
What's not so great: Nothing. It's great
The surge protector works great. I have enough room to plug in my larger plug items like my kids Nintendo ds's and my portable hard drive all at the same time. I like this one because all the outlets are on at the same time. Some of the other models were the eco model and they would shut off.
All in all this is a great product for the price. I'm getting another one for the den to hook up the tv's.

What's great about it: right angle plug, length, number of outlets
I got this surge protector a few weeks ago, and I love it. It has plenty of outlets and inputs for me to hook all of my devices up to, and with room to spare. I haven't had to use the cable or phone jacks yet, but I'm sure when I do use them they'll just reaffirm why I love this surge protector.
I highly recommend it.

so far this has done great at protecting my computer and everything else that goes with it, i like the fact that 4 of the plugs are spaced so that some of the items that require bigger plugs have room. :D

Bought this because it had plenty of outlets, including ones spaced for transformers; good spike capacity; and it did NOT have the 'master' outlet that switches others. I needed it for A/V gear and I wanted all the outlets powered all the time. Has a long power cable and a plug designed to not interfere with other plugs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I purchased this surger protector last year. Its been working great for me, Love it. great price for what I get. I have all my big $$ items hooked up to this. LCD HDTV, PS3, Surround sound/SUB, DVD. Remember that you must be on a grounded circuit to get the benefits of saving your componets in case of a surge. the indicator light will tell you once you plug it into a receptacle. I will buy another one of these for my Aquarium. Thanks Best Buy!

What's great about it: Flexibility
What's not so great: Couldn't find one in black
First, lets face it, noone can really comment on reliability and protection until, or unless, they have had a power surge and the item protected their precious equipment.
However, having written that, I have to say that this item has allowed much more flexibility than the standard inline outlet power strips due to its four dedicated transformer plugs. Also, having the on/off switch at the end away from those dedicated outlets is a plus by keeping it out of the way so that the transformer doesn't accidentally come in contact with the switch.
I intend to purchase a few more of these and get rid of those inline outlet power strips, or use them for items that do not have transformers.
While I am at it, and this has nothing to do with this item, why don't manufacturers make products with inline transformers so that they don't get in the way of plugs?
Anyway, I would suggest this item to anyone fighting the transformer plug confusion.
