First GE appliance I've ever purchased and now I have my doubts....ice dispenser malfunctioned day 2 after purchase, and four service calls later, we're keeping our fingers crossed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After much research we decided on this model. So far we are not disappointed. Got the slate color and have had many compliments on it. Great useful space everywhere including the door to the fridge. This unit does not run near as much as our old fridge and uses less energy. We can tell it on our electric bill that it is lower. Everything stays much colder. Things that could be improved: less expensive water filter and ability to make ice quicker. We have not ran out of ice yet because it has a large ice bin. It does take a while to fill up though.
