Nice design.

I bought this refrigerator to match the other GE appliances in my kitchen. Although it is a very attractive refrigerator with nice features the ice maker sounds like a bowling ally when it is making ice cubes and it runs much louder than expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This refrigerator was included in the Gourmet Kitchen option when we built our home. We are SOOO please with this appliance. The fridge and freezer are large enough for our family needs.

Love this refrigerator

I replaced a refrigerator that came with the house I purchased a year ago. There was really nothing wrong with the old unit except for the fact that it ran and ran and ran and it seemed to be very inefficient. Having purchased GE products in the past I went back to what I knew. The refrigerator was delivered yesterday, plugged in and old reliable did just what it should have done, started up, came down to temperature, held temperature (after stabilization period), and really has not started like the old one did. I can already see the electric meter slowing down.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this model. I can put an 11x14 casserole dish easily! Lots of room in the refrigeration side. We've had a similar model in the past. It cools and freezes well. Wish the ice maker dispensing mechanism was better.

18 year replacement

Just got this refrigerator to replace the same model from 18 years ago. The old refrigerator was not holding the temperature well anymore. This gives me a better comparison than if I had got something else. I like the updated control panel and temperature displays on the door. The inside is just a little tighter than before, I guess due to more side wall insulation. I like the updates to the internal light being over the center of the top shelf. So far it has been a good replacement but the motor does like to hum more that the old model. I see in the manual that the new compressor and fan does run with more noise. Glad to see the water filters are the same as before. The doors have new shook absorbers and close so very quite!
I would recommend this to a friend!

We were upgraded to the stainless steel model because my husband is a veteran when wd closed on our new home. Absolutely love it!
