We really like this refrigerator! It is nice and spacious, the ice maker works perfect, not too fast amd not too slow. I love the slate finish too!

Love my new GE Energy Star 24.4 Cu Ft Refrigerator

I received my new GE Side-By-Side Refrigerator four weeks ago and I was so excited about the new Slate Color that matches the rest of my GE Appliances. The inside lighting is great and plenty of room to store food. I also enjoy the feature that displays the temperature inside my freezer and refrigeration.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Food is cold, water/ ice maker is an accident waiting to happen. You can place a glass in the dispenser and the weight of the glass allows the water to run. One of my grandkids or other adult will someday get distracted and flood my wood flooring

Love the slate finish. Functional cu. ft. is less than old GE 25 cu. ft. side be side. Don't understand why the LED light takes up so much room.....poor design! Water dispenser is also another design failure. Not sure how this design passed user field trials. Nozzle Angle and pressure of water create many mishaps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Fridge Bad Icemaker

We just purchased this Fridge a couple of weeks ago and have been very happy with all the features it has except the icemaker. The icemaker is slow to dispense and most times when you press cubes you also get chips that come flying out on the floor if your not careful. Wish I still had the icemaker on my refrigerator that I had to leave with my house that I just sold.

I just got this refrigerator installed on 8/23 here it is only 8/26 and I get in it this morning and the temp was at 57. I turned the controls to the lowest factory setting and it is still at 57. If I would have known this I would have kept my old refrigerator. It was 5years old and worked better than this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
