Replace my die hard side by side 15 years old GE brand. I'm trust this brand more than Korea brand on refrigerator. I love the color, interior led light, set temperature control from out side and door alarm. Interior apace seem small than old version and kind of loud when making ice. So far no problem and I love it. This is best buy for me.

I've had the refrigerator for about a week and am so far very pleased. I probably didn't need to get one quite this big but I like the new slate look so much and the door storage is perfect for me and my roommates. I've found the veggie and fruit drawers are better than my previous fridge and the door seal feels nice and tight. So far haven't seen any drawbacks so I am definitely happy with my purchase.

We replaced a 14 year old GE side by side

We had a GE side by side before this purchase, it is 14 years old, moved it to our garage for a spare, still works great, but wife wanted stainless appliances, so am in the process of replacing our double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and cooktop. This Ref is only a week old, have no draw backs. I would have to say that my old GE side by side had better workmanship, I hope that I get the same service out of it that my 14 year old GE side by side has.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First fridge purchase in 15 years ~

My husband and I were getting ready to replace our refrigerator of 15 years. After doing lots of research, we decided to purchase the GE slate side-by-side. The features are exactly what we were looking for and the slate color is perfect!

We've had this fridge for 3 months and are very satisfied with it. Others have complained about noise but the operating noise is very quiet. The ice falling from the dispenser is a bit noisy in glasses, etc. but only when actually dispensing the ice. Slate finish is great looking and easy to keep clean. Nice features such as adjustable and sliding shelves, bins with humidity control, etc. all working well for us. Happy to recommend to others.
