I have constant freeze up and would not buy this again. Not that I wouldn't buy this brand because I always have and have no problem. I would recomend a bottom freezer and not a side by side

Cool LED Lighting, Great Color!

For my new kitchen, I bought a set of the GE Slate appliances. I knew I wanted a side by side refrigerator with an ice maker and filtered water in the door. I have not bought any bottled water since. Much quieter and more room than my old standard refrigerator.

Nice Fridge

This is a good looking fridge with very good interior lighting. The shelving is great with lots of flexibility. The pull out drawers are rather flimsy but OK. The ice maker did not work upon delivery, due to a manufacturing error, but was quickly repaired by the GE service rep. and has been fine since. The unit is quiet and cools very well. The control panel and water/ice panel are nice and easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Refrigerator door does not close well, but just close enough so that door alarm does not sense that it is open. Door needs to be closed hard.

Beautiful, sleek, roomy, handy filter replacement, easy controls. Love the refigerator alarm, helps me conserve (sometimes while Im cooking I forget its open). Slate perfect for no fingerprints.
