Great value and very spacious

Just bought this refrigerator a week ago, really love it! Huge light inside and it runs very quietly. I love the fact that it's American-made and also knew we would go with a GE because we have a 1960s model in our garage that is still running strong to this day!

Happy so far....but!

The unit itself if great. Runs quiet, keeps temperature. However, the freezer sometimes builds with condensation with freezes in big chunks. Also, not a lot of food can be fitted in there either. The refrigerator is great, lots of space and shelving, but the bottom drawer is an enigma to me. I have been trying to follow the manual, but it just doesn't fit right, might be the wrong part - so frustrated pulled the drawer out and don't use it.

Nice fridge but does not get cold enough

I like the features of this refrigerator but cannot get it to cool below 40 degrees in the fridge even at lowest settings.

Okay for the price but not great

I bought this in July because our old fridge finally broke. We are moving soon so went with an inexpensive model since we will be leaving it behind. We should have spent a bit more. This model is noisy and the fridge door creaks really bad when you open it. Sounds like it's old and needs some oil. It does have ample space in the fridge but the freezer is a bit tight. You can also hear the ice maker motor intermittently - sounds like a little car trying to start. The ice maker design is nice. It's just that it's really creaky and rather noisy, giving me the impression it was cheaply made.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this refrigerator 3 months ago and it's the best one I've ever owned. Great features! Love the fact that if someone leaves the door ajar, it chimes and lets you know.
