So far we haven't had any problems with it. It can sometimes be a little loud when the compressor kicks in, but it's no big deal.

It is much noisier than my previous GE refrigerator. The ice maker is slow in dispensing and not easy to use

Love this appliance! The water and ice feature is particularly well designed. Well lit, ample space with ability to modify to meet any food or beverage item. Compressor is however very noisy. It would be unsuitable in any area near a sleeping area! Much higher noise level than the appliance we replaced it with.
I would recommend this to a friend!

the doors are not even. one door is higher than the other. when your getting ice you have to hold your glass right up to the dispencer otherwise ice goes flying everywhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My First Side by Side

I got this as a Christmas gift, and I am quite pleased with it. Still getting used to the fact that the storage is different than a top freezer unit. I love the glass shelves, and the Ice Maker.
