not exactly what I expected from GE

It had the features that I wanted. We wanted a white refrig. and Ge was one of the few that had white.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very nice refrigerator for the price

Replaced a 19 year old GE Profile refrigerator with this one. Seems to have more space in both the refrigerator and freezer. Nice adjustable shelves and good layout/organization in both. Makes it easy to get to things. Only complaint is noise from ice maker, slow dispensing ice maker, and drawers feel cheaper and don't glide as nicely as our old Profile refrigerator. Overall, I would recommend.
