The ice maker and dispenser are awful.

The fridge is noisy. The capacity inboth the frezzer and refrigerator is very limited.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased 10 days ago and so far so good, I've always had good luck with GE appliances, since I'm replace a very expensive different brand refrigerator, I'm happy to be back with GE

So far: so good! Upgraded from a GE 22 cubic ft model in which the water dispensing system failed after 8 years. Hoping that this model does not meet the same fate!

I've had my fridge for 6 months and I love it. It is roomy, has a lot of useful features, makes ice quickly, the tray to place your cup for water/ ice has more than enough room for any size container to fit, it's easy to clean because everything just slides in and out, and looks very nice in my kitchen. The downside is it smudges easily with fingerprints and the icemaker can be loud when getting ice,
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'am very happy with the slate color. My only complaint would be that it's hard to see the choices on freezer door for water, crush, cube and light. Wish they were either In A brighter color or lit up

Love the in door ice and controls

Bought a used 1996 refurbished GE refer in 2004 and it still worked quite well when we purchased this one in Feb. 2017. All we did was upgrade to one that handled our tall glasses when getting ice. Very happy with it so far. I'm not sure when the display says the actual temp that it is accurate. We got the extended service plan so, a digital thermometer is all that is needed to verify the temp and a phone call if its not accurate. Love the finger printless doors, Unfortunately, the handles are not. Otherwise, GE is the only refer I will buy.
