Nice Features

Bought this model to replace its predecesor unit, which I had for fourteen years. I like the shelving due to it being able to slide in and out. This is the only refrigerator that I found that had shelves with this feature. Additionally, the product purchase was to replace a similar unit.

Reliable Refrigerator Great Value

This is my third GE refrigerator over the last 34 years. We had zero service calls on the prior model which we owned for 14 years. It was still running fine when we sold it because we remodeled our kitchen. I am an engineer and personally favor the side-by-side configuration as I believe it to be the best design option for long term reliability.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love Slate Color Option

This was just delivered today so I can't comment on much more than appearance. We were very hesitant to purchase this slate color because it looked green in the showroom at Best Buy. The salesperson assured us it was just their lighting and offered to return it free of charge if we didn't like it when it arrived. It's beautiful and is not green in my home. I love the finish because it doesn't show every fingerprint! It's going to take some getting used to the new shelf configuration which seems to have less room than my previous unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased in 2016 for new house. Looks great in slate and has been trouble free. Unlike some the ice maker is easy to work with.

Truly smudge free! I've had GE appliances before and I've never had an issue. My only concern is that it takes a while to make ice and is somewhat loud. Otherwise, I love it.

Nice fridge. Make sure u measure area before u end up trimming cabinets like me. 2 downsides...stainless steel handles get smudged easy and plastic grill at the bottom breaks easy. Easy to clean inside. Easy to change water filter. Alot of room for groceries.
