Color Black is very nice

We just replaced our SS GE French door bottom freezer model, and replaced with this Black GE side by side. We had all black appliances so the SS was out of place. If this is your only Fridge and have a big family, I would not recommend because the Freezer is small. Smaller than what we had. We kept our old one and put in the garage plus we have an upright freezer so we have plenty of freezer space. As far as function, its perfect. The dispenser for water and ice is a very good size, I can fit my 24 oz cup standing up. The height for the dispenser is 7 5/8 from bottom tray to water line. The Black is a very nice color and matches my GE microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Basic Fridge

Cools quickly, well designed, mostly quiet except the ice maker is very noise when running, like the LED lighting, much brighter than basic bulbs

This fridge/freezer is great. Nice size, features and design. Only improvements I would make is have additional adjustments for shelves so there's more storage height options. It also might be unique to our unit, but the water in the fridge shoots water straight out at you if you don't hold the cup up high. My kids sometimes get a shower if they're not careful.
