Tried many different designs...this has it all

We have had several fridges over the decades. Had a side by side 25 years ago, wasn't thrilled, and tried a bottom freezer, then a cafe door with bottoms freezer. We moved to a different state, and the house we bought has 20 year old GE profile side by side. It was still going great, but I wanted a different look than the white appliances, and decided to get the slate.
We are thrilled with this fridge, we love the internal organization, love how it is so quiet. Certainly their are fridges with more features, but none that we would use. We love this! Love the slate, was very tired of SS, done with white, done with black. Love having a surface that is easily kept clean.

We bought this fridge back in April and have loved it ever since. The water dispenser fits our yeti cups in it perfectly and it makes and holds a TON of ice!

Beautiful refrigerator

We spent a lot of time looking at refrigerators at big box stores before deciding on a refrigerator. We absolutely fell in love with this white, side by side, with outside water, ice dispenser, and temperature gauge. We were not thinking of buying a side by side at all because we never really liked them from a practical point of view. But today's refrigerators are "over the top" in bulkiness, impracticality, attractiveness. We took time looking at conventional top freezer units, and the French door kind.
Didn't like either one; and the French door type is actually the worse in terms of practicality, with a bulky pull out freezer section at the bottom that you have to reach in after you pull it out. Everything is just stored on top of each other. This GE is just wonderful! Plenty of refrigerator storage and the door has large bins from top to bottom with see through front. The freezer area also has large capacity and nice pull out bins as well. Everything is visible. You must take a look at this one. And, I still love white and that is what we bought. The white is very pretty.

After reading so many reviews on all the different fridges and we decided to go with this one. So far so good! It's not as noisy as I thought it might be after reading some of the reviews. The ice maker has no trouble keeping pretty full. I'm so glad that we went with the smudgeproof. The only thing that I have to wipe off are the handles.

It's been just over a year. Very good unit, lots of room, holds all temps well. Door is useable for milk, it keeps it really cold
