Only have owned for over a month, but I love it. I love all the space on both sides. The new side by sides are deeper and slightly higher than the old one we owned. I like GE brand so it was easy to find one to buy. I love the slate look also. Only complaint would be the small drawer is kind of tricky to open and close, but it is really useful. Lighting is good from top to bottom. Love the 2 drawers in freezer. Water and ice cube dispenser works great. I prefer the side by side over the French door look. So I’m glad I can still get a beautiful side by side.

I bought this based on the reviews I read when researching the side by side in this size. Sliding shelves helps reach items in the back easier. Nice size ice maker and was very easy to hook everything up. I've only had it a couple months, but so far we are happy with the storage and function it serves.
