Glass freezer shelves are great

Very happy we chose this model instead of the French door model with bottom freezer. Easier freezer access with the side-by-side and the newer icemaker design works very well. The glass shelves in the freezer prevent food from freezing into the wires like our old fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the glass shelving and adjustability!

I debated between a cafe door & lower freezer. So glad I got to use one as a guest in someone’s home! The freezer being low & deep is not great when you are 6’ plus in height. Cafe doors were more of a nightmare. I was constantly opening the wrong side of the door & the shelves, though wider are still adjustable, seemed to give less shelf space than my old side by side!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not enough space for food

Not enough usable space for food and such due to the fancy features for inside lights and such. Crisper drawers the same to much room being used for light features

Temperature control

Everything on the new GE refrigerator works great but we had a minor problem with temperature control. Up one degree and some item in refrigerator will freeze. Same with freezer....at one temperature some items rock hard (ice cream)..down one degree and item is a little too soft.

Great purchase

We've several months and are very pleased. Storage is more then enough, the water/ice on the door is convenient and doesn't leak like our old refrigerator. The side by side is a blessing, we had a French door model and it seemed no matter what you were looking for both doors ended up having to be opened.
