Purchased this fridge after months of research.... I love the slate finish, the lighting also the ability to see the temp and adjust it as needed

We love the room with two door feature . We love the feature with the alarm for the open door our friends and family that come over if they leave the door open you will know some one has been finding food to eat and drink .

Love the black stainless steel

So happy they kept the side by side refrigerator-not all of us want a French door fridge. This is almost identical to the one I replaced. Love the easy access ice dispenser. Wish it had come with a cam holder for the door like the old one. Thankfully the old one fit!

I’ve had this refrigerator for about 6 months now. So far it’s been very good. The one thing though is it’s marketed as “finger proof resistant” it’s definitely not. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

Slate GE Refrigerator

I previously owned a GE Refrigerator that I liked so when I needed to replace it, I looked for a GE that was as close to the one I had as possible. I got it in slate and it is very attractive. I have been using it for a month and there have only been a couple of issues. The first one I noticed prior to installation. The model number in the refrigerator did not match the model number of the one I researched and purchased. I went to the GE website and could not find the model # of the one I got. I called the place I bought it from and after a couple of days they replied and said it was a new model coming out. I keep checking on the GE site and still no new model #. I think the person could not find the answer either so they just told me that. Even when I went to write this review, the GE site changed the model # automatically to what I ordered and not what I received. The model I got is GSE25HMHKHES. No one seems to know what the extra HK stands for. The only other issue is that it over made ice and the arm that should shut it off did not do its job. I have been turning it off when there is a good amount and have not tried to let it shut off on its own again. Otherwise I like the set up of the side by side and have plenty of room for all my needs in both the freezer and the refrigerator sections.
