Ice dispenser is perfect.

Bought this when I downsized. Has a clean simple look. As an iced drink person, I love the ice dispenser. Works better than any I've had before. For an avid cook, the inside space is cramped. Hard to fit oversized items. Trying to remove shelves from freezer requires pulling door all the way back which is hard to do when pushed into the built in cabinet area. Unit seems noisier than some. Cooling seems to be even and consistent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fridge

I can't use the icemaker due to wrong side of kitchen. Only problem I have is the curved door. Found that the siverware drawer does not clear the fridge very well. Have to pull out drawer carfully. Something I never thought about when I measured the space and the fridge...

So far this refrigerator has met my expectations. Everything works and works well. Hopefully this refrigerator last longer than my last GE model. Durability is to be determined.

Nice fridge!

This replaces a similar refrigerator of a different brand. It seems quieter, which is nice. The other one could be heard in our bedroom, 25 feet away. Not this one.
The door ajar warning is a nice feature, and you can disable it if you don't like it.
Actual and set temperature displays are nice features.
Very attractive finish, but it is susceptible to scratches (otherwise a 5 star fridge.) A black marker sort of hides a scratch, but it is noticeably darker than the finish. I wish GE could recommend a way to hide scratches. Maybe a gray marker, if I can find one.

Nice upgrade over prior G.E. Refridgerator

Only two things somewhat negative. 1. I wish the temperature display was shown at all times, not just when the display was pushed. 2. I have a feeling my ice maker may not work properly. When I look in the ice storage bin and it’s only partially full, even though ice maker is on. I can move the sensor and it will begin making ice. We will see if this continues.
Otherwise we love this refridgerator, especially the black stainless finish.

Be aware of spray foam insullation

Received new refrig and was disappointed it did not fit into our 36 inch cabinet opening. The spray foam insulation caused the mid section of the refrig to bow outward 5/8 of an inch on both sides. I was able to switch out the refrig with another however the new refrig still bows (just not as bad). To ensure refrig fits be sure to make your opening closer to 37 inches to be safe (which is NOT what the spec sheet says).
I do like the look of the refrig and so far functions just fine.

Terrible features

Set to theses temperatures but the actual temperature say 4for freezer and 37 for fridge and both are getting colder when not using and water line is frozen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Based upon the dollar value alone this product surpasses any product I’ve had previously. Extremely reliable and functions as well or better than anything I’ve had in the past.
