Great features!

We have only had this refrigerator a week, but so far, it is very satisfactory. There is plenty of room. I like the deep shelves on the door that let's you store milk and other tall/big containers and they keep cold because they recess into the fridge itself when the door is closed. It's light and bright. My only negative comment would be that it is very slow to make ice (if you need a lot in a hurry, just use some ice cube trays and freeze some until the supply builds up - no big deal). We've had GE appliances for years, and we are satisfied customers. Oh, by the way - it just barely did fit into the space allotted for it, with 1/8 of an inch to spare! I prayed!

My New GE Fridge

I'm in the process of getting the ice maker repaired through warranty and my local store. It only made ice for about 6 weeks before breaking. Right not it appears the entire unit will need to be replaced. I've already had 3 components replaced and still no ice. I'm very surprised and expect better from GE. This is the only reason I didn't rank quality higher. Other than that everything else works perfectly.

We are very pleased with this GE side by side. It works great, moved the shelves exactly where we wanted, more than enough room for us and love the water dispenser. It seems to be a wider spray than others.

Hard to find!

Hard to find a side by side with Energy Star rating, WITH no spill shelves. But I found it! In Slate. Love it. Bonus, glass shelves in the freezer too. Water and ice in the door.

Noisy Ice Maker Motor

We have owned 4 of these refrigerators and been very happy until this one. Unfortunately we hear the ice maker motor run or rather grind all the time.

Does okay....

so far, only 3 months into it, seems ok, a little noisy, cools okay, water/ice buttons not as responsive as i think they should be... listed dimensions off a bit, water filter in upper back right somewhat fragile and inconveniently placed
