Love the freezer

Great ice maker. Refrig/freezer very quiet except for the ice drop, which depends on how far the ice has to drop in the container.

Worst ever!!!

I should have read the reviews before I bought this refrigerator. The quality is very bad, the doors are not aligned, which causes the fridge not to close properly and the internal temperature is always wired and freezes the food that’s at the back and the food that’s arranged in the front rots before it’s expiration date. The drawers and compartments are all broken in the fridge, the doors and the freezer. I have had this fridge for 3 years now and I am way past the manufacturers warranty and can’t do anything about it. I wish I should have paid more attention to all these things when I bought it. Now the water is not dispensing and The ice machine is not making ice. WOW!!! This is the worst review I have given in my life. It is the worst fridge EVER

Dead before year 5

My refrigerator is less than 5 years old and it has stopped cooling. I called a service technician who told me compressors should have a ten year warranty. Seems he was wrong. Some sources online show a 5 year warranty but GE is offering only 1 year. I bought 3 GE appliances at the same time and only one remains. There clearly is very little value in GE products these days. My previous GE refrigerator was over 20 years old and still running when I replaced it for a prettier model.
