I have spent a good part of the past 30 hours since installation admiring the features of this refrigerator, especially the ice-maker/water dispenser since we are in the beginning of a very hot/humid spell. Am quite anxious to go shopping to fill the rest of this unit to more completely satisfy my total expectations.

GE refigerator

Only have had the refrigerator for about a month. So far very happy with our purchase. Ice maker works better than our previous unit. Did notice that the water filter is expensive but I guess I already expected that.

This refrigerator makes almost NO NOISE at all! In an open concept living area that is all tiled, this was a key feature in the decision to purchase this unit. Not disappointed. Downside, the mechanics take up space at the rear, lower shelf and bottom drawer that eats into valuable, useable space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Like the door alarm. Also ice maker really handles the amount we use for ice water. Easy to use freezer with wire baskets. Refrigerator has nice shelves and drawers.

Nice looking but some quirks

Got this in slate, which is very sharp. The ice dispenses slowly, especially the crushed. The water line makes a strange noise every time I turn the water on at my sink, which is odd.
