This movie had lots and lots of action that kept you on your toes. Most people thought it was some horror movie gone wrong. Actually turned out to be a pretty good movie. Can't wait for the sequel.

Beasts each an apocalypse!!!!

My spiritual take on it: It was FOUR BEAST MONSTERS ACTUALLY. Symbolizing the first beast (took the statue top off), another beast (which those lil ones fell down off of in the city), the beast (in the bridge scene part), and a beast (in the appear silent out of thin air scene). Noteable in Apoc 13 (which even equal 4) right by simple words a, first, another, & the; concerning even the four beasts in other book with beasts. A beast which got the cam guy symbolizes a dynamical beast which be a EVEN HIDDEN PORTAL which very well can DO ANY THING AND MAKE ANY ENTRANCE to spoil the devil which is not Say Tan nor Geez Us nor Mabus, but a co-yellow. The co-yellow devil is symbolized by those people running. Plus, check Apoc 12 to match. Actually noteable be us which be each a four-set beast with main tops the firstfruits. Any which know, knows what befalls even so obvious how IT prefers. Buy the DVD of this movie since it is much more than meets the eye!!!!
What's great about it: Revealing truths!
What's not so great: Nothing

This movie kinda leaves you in the dark as to what it's actually about. I took a chance on it and wasn't disappointed. The monster in Cloverfield would kick Godzilla's butt! Although the camera is shaky at times and don't get me wrong that it kinda ads to the effect of the movie i just get annoyed at times. Then there are parts where its kinda dark and you can't make out the scence but thankfully it quickly improves. If you are looking for something different in the Sci-Fi / Horror genre, you need to check this one out!
What's great about it: great concept
What's not so great: dark at parts and shaky camera
I would recommend this to a friend!

Okay the plot is slow, you don't see the monster until the movie is almost over, and the camera shakes so much that I had a bad headache the entire time. The only thing worth seeing is when that chick's head blows up through the hospital screen. I had to sit through this movie twice, even though once was enough. Fair warning to all, if you get motion sickness easily, DO NOT Watch on a FULL Stomach!!!!
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Everything
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Monster Movie

Cloverfield resurrected the monster movie sub-genre, with a gritty realistic feel that adds something new to genre thats been pretty much dead since the american take on Godzilla back in the 90s. the movie is an intense,fast pace rollercoaster ride that is definitely worth your time,
What's great about it: realistic feel, a different take on a played out genre,great special effects and it is well-paced
What's not so great: the documentary style is hit or miss, the actors while not bad isnt anything special.
I would recommend this to a friend!
