What's great about it: Horde, New Weapons, New Enemies, New Online Play, Raging Clues With My Friends Online
What's not so great: Online Lobby, Ending

This game would've got five stars if if you didn't have to drive a third (or possibly more) of the game. Some of the things could have been left out like the fight scene with the monster fish and having to use a crane to get Dom across a gap. Mediocre campaign and multi-player, horde is a pretty cool added game mode.
What's great about it: Graphics, Storyline, New Weapons, Horde
What's not so great: Drive too many vehicles, Lame fights
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Game.
If you enjoyed the first Gears this one will blow you away. The Unreal engine is great and gives this game some of the best graphics out there. The story is 10 times better than the first and gameplay is the same but touched up....very well.
Online this time around is so much better. There is now a party system with matchmaking. The first gears' online setup really ruined the experience.
Overall this game is excellent! Tons of fun!!
What's great about it: Gameplay, Graphics, Party System, Story, etc.
What's not so great: Late nights and early mornings.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got Gears of War last night at Best Buy and it was everything I expected. The campaign is so fun!!!!!!!!! The Brumaks are fun to kill and easy. The new Horde mode is one of the best features. Everything is great about it, but the matchmaking it takes to long. I recommend buying this game!!!!!
What's great about it: Great graphics!, amazing campaign.
What's not so great: Matchmaking multiplayer, takes like 5 minutes to join a match.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is the best game ever, its so addicting and fun to play. The graphics are amazing and everything is great. ONLY bad thing is the match making is kind of slow

Love playin the gears series. the second gears is great online in coop as expected. slow joining party games online. I think it could have been a bit more challenging than it is though. I am a amatuer and am already at act 4 with no help. The first gears kicked my butt for weeks. I'll finish this one in days.
What's great about it: It is a bit easier for the amatuer gamer than the first one. The first gears required alot of game savey to get through
What's not so great: too easy at times. Needs to be more challenging at times
I would recommend this to a friend!
