One of the best xbox games ever

i love this game. horde is one of the most fun game modes in an xbox 360 game. i played co op campaign with my friend for 6 hours straight and got a ton of achievements.this is one xbox game that you have to buy.
What's great about it: Campaign, co-op, horde, multiplayer
What's not so great: seriously 2.0 is the hardest achievement ever
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is one the best games for the 360 it is much better the the first and always has surprised waiting around the bend new enemies and characters. This is probably one of the best games of the year.
What's great about it: everything graphics gameplay choice of diffuculity and guns
What's not so great: nothing except for some tiny glitches but every game has um
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is soooooo amazing!! If you liked gears 1, you will LOVE gears 2!! This is the best game ever. There is alot more action than gears 1,the game play is always changing. You also get to ride a brumack! Who doesnt want to ride a brumack! I would reccomend this game to anybody.
What's great about it: awesome guns,amazing graphics,way better than the already great gears of war 1,
What's not so great: nothing at all!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awesome game and horde is the best and so is guardian and wingman is amazing to!!!????
What's great about it: almost everything
What's not so great: to long to get into a game

i loved it, but it left more holes

i was a fan of the first game so i may not give a completely fair opinion.
GRAPHICS= 10
SOUND= 8
STORY= 7 (it introduced lame looking creatures that in my opinion tarnished the quality of the story, and the ending was VERY WEAK)
CONTROLS= 8 (nothing changed, unfortunatly if you play online you still end up using the "A" button too much because you use it to roll, run and get into cover.)
What's great about it: visualy amazing, 5v5 online, horde mode.
What's not so great: story gets short because of focus on online mode
I would recommend this to a friend!

campaign is absolutely worth playing through, but i'm going to have to play the multiplayer a lot more to get used to the controls
What's great about it: campaign is good
What's not so great: multiplayer is difficult for me with the stupid controls, if it was real life i wouldn't be rolling all over da place

This game is just lots of fun. I got it for a xmas present and didnt know what quite to expect. I have never played GOW 1 so I cant compare it to that so this is just my opinion of GOW 2. Graphics are cool, weapons are awsome once you learn how to use them all and I'm still learning that, and online play is lots of fun. I had read bad reviews of online about GOW 1 online play but 2 is really fun. Takes a couple of minutes to find teams sometimes, but unlike COD it matches you with people in your skill level. I would def. recommend this to my friends and will do so.
What's great about it: Ability to turn off language & gore for younger players...... just fun!!
What's not so great: Nothing...
I would recommend this to a friend!
