Gears of War 2 is finally here and it lives up to all the hype that was created by it. They added new multi-player modes like the excellent horde mode, and they even threw in a code for the flashback map pack download for free with new games. This is definitely the best looking game this year so far. Not for the little ones though. Better story than the last also, very epic. Highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Gorgeous graphics, fun live gameplay
What's not so great: nothing really a few minor glitches and slowdowns

The game is easier than the first one. Multiplayer is better in what they offer, however they still have not fixed the multiplayer issues. Horde mode is so fun and is a really good challenge.
What's great about it: Horde Mode
What's not so great: Multiplayer issues from time to time

Where to begin? The game is pretty unbelievable, however, there is one catch. The m/p, as usual, consists of people with complexes, and must bridge host and/or lag up the system. This is pathetic and makes the m/p lame. When you get into a m/p room that is hosted by one of these losers then you can not simply exit out, instead, you have to go to the dashboard and start all over. Next, is the grenades. I love how the 1st GOW was so fast paced, and run and gun. This is not the case with GOW 2. I can not tell you how many m/p rooms i've played in where the matches actually take 30+ minutes to finish because the players simply camp the grenades. Those are my complaints. The game is still great, but I have quit playing it because of the lame gamers that play the m/p. I would rent it to play the campaign and the horde with some friends, but the m/p has so much to offer, but other gamers who "have to win" take away from the experience.
What's great about it: Graphics, Campaign, Horde, Etc...
What's not so great: Multiplayer... Explanation in review...

if you have played gears1 and are looking to move up to gears2 make shure to have a stress ball with you when you play online. the game has changed in many ways example gow1 while you are in the zoom mode with the sniper you would get shot and not move at all gow2 you you get shot it moves your cross hairs witch SUCKS. in gow1 the shotgun is amazing with alot of power and short range for a bigger blast in gow2 the shotgun has a longer range but is weak even with the active reload witch SUCKS. in gow1 the nades are frustrating in gow2 you can stick them on floors walls etc. witch SUCKS. in gow1 the chainsaw gun was powerful when you are being chased by a guy reving the chainsaw you could shoot him and it will delay him from killing you in gow2 when they are chasing you with the chainsaw reved up you shoot him and it doesn't stop the guy he KILLS YOU witch SUCKS. in gow1 when your running at a guy shooting at you with the chainsaw gun you get to him no problem and kill him with the shotgun in gow2 when you run at a guy shooting you with the chainsaw gun your guy is slowed down by the gun fire so he gets to kill you wiitch SUCKS. in gow1 the running is so much better easier in gow2 when you run you stick to almost every corner in the map witch SUCKS. SO DO NOT BUY THIS GAME RENT IT OR BORROW IT
What's great about it: horde and you can play bots
What's not so great: multiplayer shotgun sniper grenades running
