Single player is very fun and playing co-op with friends over xbox live is a better time and nice addition to the series. Can't wait to see the next game

Gears of War 2 takes multiplayer gaming to the next level. Much better than most games. Enjoy, love it and share it!!
What's great about it: It's pretty fun and lots of replay value.
What's not so great: Game is a bit short!!

Good story keeps you interested in the game. I myself have played the campaign over and over after beating the game. The online experience is very addicting.
What's great about it: Good story, good graphics, excellent replay value.
What's not so great: I honestly do not have any negatives for this game.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best 3rd person shooter.

I cant say much other than for online. Online is great but some people are either a cheating and hacking their rank or have bad hosting issues. Best graphics ever. Well maybe not but they are good :)
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: nothing except lag online due to other hosts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great game in most respects

Yeah, Gears of War 2 is a fun game, but it has it short comings too. The two things that bothered me the most were movement and difficulty. Every once in a while, the movement will act screwy and get you killed. It can cause you to pop up when you don't want to or take cover on the wrong piece of terrain. Overall this problem is more annoying than anything else.
The problem that really ticked me off was the inconsistent difficulty. When I first started I played through on the 2nd hardest setting (the hardest one available). For the most part, the game was a breeze. Despite being insanely easy, there were some parts that seemed impossible to get through and definitely didn’t fit in. After beating the game (most disappointing game boss ever), I decided to play through again on the newly unlocked hardest setting. The game went from being supper easy to supper hard. I'm all for a challenge (in fact that’s when I really enjoyed this game) but for a lot of gamers, the steep learning curve might be a bit much. The game can be played solo but you need a buddy for the game to truly shine. Without doing co-op the game jus isn’t as good, despite decent AI.
Despite these flaws, the game is solid. The graphics are way above average and the music isn't bad either. The story is so-so, but starts out with an epic feel. I haven't really tried multiplayer that much but playing horde is a lot of fun, especially with some friends.
Overall, Gears of War 2 is a game that should be played and easily has a spot in any gamer’s collection. Give it a try.
What's great about it: Great graphics, lots of fun with a buddy
What's not so great: Buggy movement, inconsistant difficulty

I LOVE THIS GAME I RECOMMEND GEARS OF WAR 2 TO EVERYBODY
5 PEOPLE OF MY FAMILY HAVE IT WE PLAY ALL THE TIME I LOVE TO HAVE XBOX LIVE THAT WAY I PLAY THIS GAME WITH MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS THAT I HAVE IN MIAMI AND MEXICO THAT IS JUST AWESOME
What's great about it: THE MULTIPLAYER
What's not so great: IS ADDICTING I STAY UP SO LATE ALL THE TIME

first of all this game is ridiculous and by that i mean awesome, the visuals are sweet, chainsawing feels great, the story was cool, many online game modes, and horde mode is addicting
What's great about it: it's ridiculousness, really crazy graphics, chainsaws, story, online multiplayer, horde mode
What's not so great: the online can be buggy which makes it look weird
I would recommend this to a friend!
