This is GEARS 2!!! GEt this. In my personal opinion, not quite as good as the first gears but you need to get it..... it's hard to beat the first gears, so just because I say that this one isn't as good doesn't mean you shouldn't get it!
What's great about it: it's GEARS!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Game is fun to play, a little too easy at times, decent length, seems to be a lot of repetition(as in a lot of games unfortunately).
What's great about it: too many to name
What's not so great: not too difficult

Enjoyed this game. Played to the end and then online with other gamers.
What's great about it: Great sequel to the original, true first person shooter
What's not so great: Sometimes slow

Yes, no question. As seen in the new Unreal flash 3.0 the graphics have been perfected into something amazing. I am not sure if $80 for the limited edition is really worth the extra disc. Yet, the game is a gotta have third person shooter. The only reason my frineds and i got an xbox 360 was because of gears one. And it blew us away. I am sure that you will be pleased with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Flawed

When i frist got Gears i loved it. Fun single player, the new mode Horde kicked butt. But after 10 hours or so it started to get boring. The characters are slow and lumbering. Any mulitplayer besides Hord becomes a camp fest. I never once found a room where people were having fun. Single player looks great open areas, beautiful locations and epic battles keeps you playing. But when your playing the game it's just the same thing. you have about 8 weapons to pick from and there few and vary far between. Gears is one of those games you pretend to like and enjoy but in realty it's vary boring.
What's great about it: Looks, scale of single player
What's not so great: vs on-line. VARY repetitive gameplay
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

one of the best on the market

so i own over 50 games on xbox 360 and this is by far in my top 3 of video games ever played, starting number 1 fallout3 #2 is gears 2 and #3 old reliable Halo3. Gears 2 is amazing the graphics are the best ive seen on a game. the carreer is great the multiplayer is great with the exception a laggy feeling and a long wait time to find a party. but one thing stood out to me in this game, And that is Horde, horde alone made this game worth the 75$ i payedfor for the unlimited game, if you do not have live, get this game any way, i have devoted at least 100 hours to playing horde online and offline!!! if you are going to get 3 releativly new games my suggestions would be Gears 2, fallout 3( RPG) and Grandtheft auto four. now Listen to me everyone who reads this.. DO NOT GET CALL OF DUTY WORLD AT WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! by far the worst most dissapointiing game i have ever played. biggest waste of 60 bucks EVER!!!!!!!! do not buy it!!!!!!!!!!!! youll be better of with ANYTHING!!! than that game... SERIOUSLY DONT GET cod world at war. personaly call of duty 1 was better!!!!!!!!! o and the limited edition for gears 2 is amazing get it if you can!
What's great about it: everything is great, but Horde is unbelieavable!!!
What's not so great: online can be laggy
I would recommend this to a friend!

everyone should play this epic game. It has gore, killing, chainsaws, and much more. Play this game you will be happy.
What's great about it: the gore and graphics
What's not so great: the amount of guns
