Part of product did not work

Bought 2 Combo packs on 4/23/13. Used 1 Tri-color cartridge which worked find. Just tried 1st black cartridge and it did not work. I did all the suggested fixes but nothing worked. Opened 2nd package and the black ink worked fine so it is not my printer.
Need a replacement black ink cartridge.

The ink came the very next day, which was excellent because I had a Huge project to print for the following day, my Mother's Birthday!
I only wished I'd ordered more! It was a Huge amount of printing photographs, now I'm almost out again. ;(

The ink is necessary and I enjoy being able to order online. My praise is for the recycling envelope for returning the empty ink cartridges. When mailing at Post Office, the employee did not know about returning empty cartridges--this information should be widely distributed and the envelopes made available for businesses and the public. Thank you for sending one to me and next order will be expected to contain another one.

Perhaps you've had trouble with ink cartridges purchased from major retail stores; I know I surely did. In fact, I googled for answers as to why the ink just didn't work. I spent many hours with on line remedies for ink cartridges that didn't work. I actually thought I was going to have to replace my printer. When I finally purchased the origional HP ink, I just snapped it in and it printed with no problem at all. Sometimes buying ink from other retailers just doesn't pay. Thanks HP
