Very hard to get off the vent and causes a lot of frustration. It will mount to the vent but you have to be patient and get it in the right spot. It holds the phone very well and there's adjustability for other phones which is a plus and it's positioned well so your phone is within reach, but it's not so user friendly when taking it off or putting it on as mentioned. Go for a window mount if you want something simple.

Though it took me a couple of tries to get this installed properly (reading the enclosed directions BEFORE installing is definitely recommended), it works very well. It is quick and easy to insert and remove my Galaxy S6 phone. It also holds the phone snugly so I don't worry about the phone falling out while I'm driving.
