This device does a great job most of the time of holding my phone. It's great to have it more eye-level when using navigation. I have it hooked into the air conditioning vent. A couple times I've hit bumps while driving and the phone fell out of the holder. Overall, it's pretty good for the price.

great for using navigation

although has some negatives, it gets the job done if you use your phone for navigation. I had one that stuck to the windshield but it got in the way sometimes and would fall off at times. so although not perfect it works for me.

Gets the job done

Nice things about this are that there are 2 adjustable "legs" on the bottom to allow one to hold the phone while the other is pulled back to allow for the charger cord. Also, I especially like that keeping my phone in front of the vent helps keep it from overheating when running GPS or streaming audio.

Yes, shaky - but works. For the money I couldn't find something small and universal - to hold my smartphone. You have to use it gently, because all movable parts will stop moving eventually. Consider price before comparing.
