I bought this because the package mentioned that large gps units would fit.
Holder was easy to attach and remove from ventilation slots. There are pads to protect your phone or gps. User presses a lever repeatedly to open jaws/brackets, then situate your device and squeeze the jaws/brackets snugly around device.
I am happy with my purchase of this vent mount.
