State law requires hands free phone use while diving so I wanted to try something as an inexpensive fix. I was surprised it actually mounts to the dash air vents fairly easily and holds the phone. A couple times during course of driving - particularly long stretches of bumpy roads which are common now that winter has created a pothole Spring - the grip fails and phone drops. Since I didn't really expect it to work at all I'll take this low fail rate. $20, not bad.
