I bought this to help with viewing the GPS on my iPhone. At first, it was kind of awkward to set up but the clips fit on the vent very nice and did not move. The knob to tighten the area that holds the phone loosened and the phone did not stand up very well. Overall, it helps.

Have not used the windshield holding attachment and most likely I won't since if used the cell is too far away for effective speaker use.

Overal pretty decent. The grip holds the phone very securly. It has never fallen out even on very bumpy roads.

However, it is relatively shaky while driving, but not so much as to mot be able to see the map. This issue may also be more due to my vehicles vents then the actual mount.
