Better than failign suction cup

i bought this since my suction cup was no longer adequate, and i basically would have hold my gps in my hand while driving. this helps a lot, better than nothing, it's a it tricky to put on depending on the design of your air vents. i like that it has multiple points of adjustments. However it could use improvement. it feels cheap and flimsey. it does not hold firm and sometimes my phone falls off during bumpy rides with a slight uphill grade. to compensate I angle it up ward so that it's sitting in the holder via gravity.

I would recommend this to a friend!

Clever idea, but it needs improving

My main issue with this otherwise crafty and functional device is that it provides no protection to the smart phone if you are using the heat. You can't close the vent and use the vent mount, so there needs to be insulation to prevent the device from overheating while the heat is in use.
