The phone holder is adequate. It was a little hard to get it set into the air vent. When in the air vent, the vent must remain open. But it does make the phne easier to see, especially when following the map.

I followed the instructions and mounted this to my heater vent on my car's dash and after one week of placing my iPhone 6 in it whenever I drove, the hook in one side broke off and the holder listed to one side and my iPhone fell out. There's no way to fix it. My advice is to bypass this product and buy one that's more sturdy.
