After about 5 uses a cog inside slipped and caused it not to lock. It came apart easily and I was able to fix it. Just be careful not to squeeze to hard when nothing is in it.

When I bought this item the sales person assured me that my Iphone 6+ with protector would fit. It needs another half inch width
The main problem - I can not fit the vent mount into the grill. The prongs are not long enough to grab the crill
