Does the job well.

The only drawback of this device is the clips seem flimsy. I have owned this for a little over a week and works great and does the job well. I did register the product and noticed an internet link to replacement clips on its literature. Low and behold they send you replacement clips no charge and just for good measure I order 1 set for backup in case of breakage on the road. Went to the mail today and they put two sets in an envelope (which I found very generous of them). Once I'm done with this model I will be looking for another Bracketron product just for the great customer service alone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Keeps Breaking

I really want this product to work but it keeps breaking. The Best Buy people have been great exchanging it twice. I love that it mounts to the air vent and it holds my iPhone with a case but the brackets that attach to the vent have broken twice. The first time it broke within the first hour after I went over a speed bump and the second time it lasted almost six weeks but the same bracket broke. Just got my third one so I'm hoping it lasts. The design is right but the quality of materials need to be stronger. At least it's not all that expensive at around $20 but I would pay more if it would last a lot longer.
What's great about it: It mounts on vent and holds iPhone with a case
What's not so great: Keeps breaking
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use it every day. I'd give it an excellent rating, but I've had to return it once already for randomly breaking. The ratcheting mechanism that is used to open the arms that hold your phone broke. - Bestbuy was cool and replaced it without issue, but it makes me doubt the build quality.
What's great about it: It does what it's supposed to
What's not so great: it broke once...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great idea, but cheap plastic parts break way too easy. Do not recommend this product. If they could make it out of different stronger material it would be a hit.

Sturdy device-holder; works great

I had purchased a different phone-holder from a different store, which broke within a week. I found this one in-store for a reasonable price and so far it's working great! EASILY holds my Galaxy S6 Edge that has a battery case which increases the phone's size somewhat. You can even adjust the angle so you can keep your device conveniently pointed toward you.
So far the plastic has been very sturdy despite the fact that's it's cooled and warmed throughout the day due to it being clipped to my air conditioner vent.
