Samsung WF448AAP Not the Best Wahser

The first day we used the washer it was taking 96 minutes to do a normal wash or quick wash with a high spin. After the wash was done it had to go through an additional Spin only cycle because the clothes are still wet. Called Samsung it took a week before a service tech came out and all he had to say we will have to replace the system board and would have to order one and would come back in a few days. I returned it to the store without any problems and bought a ELECTROLUX EWFLS65IIW it does a quick cycle in 18 mintues and if you want a matching Dry look for ELECTROLUX EWMED65HIW. Bought them online with free delivery and no sales tax if you don't want to spend an entire day washing don't by the Samsung.
What's great about it: I was able to return it
What's not so great: It took over 96 minutes to do a normal Wash
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really disappointed

It holds less clothing than my high capacity top load washer did, a huge disappointment. It doesn't spin out as much water as I'd been led to believe. The wash cycles take a LONG time. My daughter loves hers, but I'm sorry I got mine.
What's great about it: I like all the settings it has.
What's not so great: Small load size, doesn't spin out as much water as desired
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE MACHINE OVERALL IS OK AFTER HAVING THE KENMORE HE5T IN MY HOME THERE IS NO COMPARISON. VERY NICE SALESPERSON HELPED ME OUT WITH THE PURCHASE. THE MACHINE HAS VERY NICE FEATURES BUT THE SILVER CARE CAUSED MY SEPTIC TANK TO OVER FLOW WASHING ABILITIES WERENT AS GREAT AS THE HE5T FROM KENMORE HAVING BOTH UNITS IN MY HOME THE 5T WAS A LOT MORE FRIENDLY TO USE QUIETER AND LEFT CLOTHES AND WASHED MY CLOTHES SPOTLESS

What's not so great: DOES NOT COMPARE

Waste of money

This is the single biggest waste of money aside from buying a boat. Nobody needs anything more than the cheap-o set provides for a fraction of the cost. Our clothes have a funny smell half the time. If you actually have 6 or 7 hours to do the laundry then you might like the silver care and steam cycles and all the fancy useless settings. These units weigh as much as a small car so don't plan on being able to move, clean, or drop anything behind them. Once something gets dropped behind it it is a goner. I would give anything for my old set back. Please don't waste good money on this stuff.
What's great about it: Absolutely NOTHING
What's not so great: The washer weighs as much as a small car, so don't plan on being able to clean behind it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the set and love them. It is so quiet. It's large enough for washing huge loads, or even an extremely small load. Either way it knows just the right amount of water to put in with the load based on it's load sensing ability. It even has a light to let you see what you're pulling out. Talk about style...
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: None so far...
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do not enjoy laundy, but can now tolerate it. You really can't help but say, "what a good investment" since we do a load a day.
What's great about it: Quiet, Many Cycles, Washes King Blankets,
What's not so great: Price, and my wife now thinks I can do laundry

I just purchased the new Samsung washer and dryer and they work great, I’m very satisfied with the products and defiantly recommend to get these appliances, clean clothes, no wrinkles, no spots and most importantly no noise when operates .One word of advise before you spend your money, make sure to buy from a store that could provide what you pay for –the worst experience of my life on buying appliances was with SEARS, it took them 5 weeks of lies after lies from different managers on delivering the items, I got rescheduled 14 times for delivery date until my sister in law told me how great her experience was with Best Buy, I have decided to give them a try and I was impressed with the service ,knowledge and overall I have purchased my appliances the same day and got them delivered within 24 hours .If you are looking for the best go to Best Buy and get your appliances ,you will get what you pay for .
What's great about it: Very quiet and clean clothes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Purchase Ever

The Price was great, I was able to get the washer and dryer with no charge for the pedestals. The salesman also took some additonal dollars off my purchase. I did a lot of reading online before making a decision on which brand to purchase. I liked the fact that Samsung had the largest capacity steam washers and dryers and size was important to me. The reviews on this site just made my decision a little easier. My local Best Buy stores did not have the washer and dryer in stock so I bought them from the internet photos only. I was a bit apprehensive, but they are great. Not only are they a beautiful set, but they work superbly. I have tried every cycle, including steam and sanitize and they are all great. This set replaced a Maytag HE front loading set, because I wanted the steam function and the pedastals. My old set wouldn't fit under existing cabinets in my laundry room with the pedastals. Having a bad back, I could no longer bend to get the laundry from the low vantage point without pedestals. I do not recommend getting these without the pedestals. You will be disappointed in the long run. Wait till they have the free pedestal offer to buy. It's a savings of over $500. Delivery was prompt, effecient, and friendly. The installers even gave me time to mop my floor under the old appliances before bringing in the new ones. They are a bit pricey but when compared to some of the other brands without the capacity and features, it is a good price. Wouldn't hesitate to buy Samsung again.
