This controller is great. The battery life seems to last forever compared to the newer DS4. The only downside is that this does not come with a charge cord!

Official Sony controller; why fix what's not broken. The design is flawless. I've used the same controller that came with my original PS3 since 2006 until I needed a new replacement from parts wearing down.
The texture, the feel, the weight, the layout of the buttons, the size, the battery life... it all just feels good to me. I have nothing bad to say about it.

sony ps3 controllers have always been better than generic controllers. generic controllers always break within days/weeks of purchase. i did not give the sony controller a "great" rating because i have noticed over the years that the plastic shell is not as thick, or strong, as it used to be.
