A new spin on an old favorite! I freaked out when I saw the commercial, and when I saw that the Wii was in stock at Best Buy yesterday, I bought it. That's right, I got the Wii specifically for this game. And so far, it's been worth it! My friends and I are already addicted, and it's definately a game that we'll be enjoying for a long time! People seem to have mixed feelings about the wheel controller, but I love it. I think it really adds something to the game-play, making it more interactive (the entire point of the Wii system). In addition, the game has added more features, such as new tracks, new car types, and different "tricks" on the tracks. Fantastic! I cannot stress enough how much FUN this game is. Get it! And get the extra wheels (I got two extras so my roommates could enjoy it with me). It's definately a great game for EVERYONE!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was definitely enjoy this game. I usually rent before buying, but since it was MK I decided to bite the bullet and buy it.
I like using the Wii Wheel to give it a more natural feel. Plenty of fun levels, and the online feature works well.
I enjoy playing with people from around the world!
What's great about it: Good Controls, Old and New Levels, Wii Wheel
What's not so great: If you didn't like previous games you probably won't like this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is absolutely amazing. I love the DS version of this game, but this is so much fun. So far its the best game for the Wii and might be the best game of the year for me. This game is only $50 and you get a wheel with it, but I recommend using the nunchuk and the wireless remote or the classic controller. I hate the wheel, but I still love the game. Buy this game!!!! There is so much you can do with it. You can play alone, with friends, with people aross the U.S. or even across the globe. AMAZING!
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: The wheel sucks. I don't even use it!

This game is absolutely a classic taken to the next level. I was skeptical about the wheel at first...but it really helps the game....trust me YOU WILL NEED TO BUY A 2nd WHEEL - its only 10 bucks and worth it. This game is the best!!!
What's great about it: Great steering, awesome game!
What's not so great: NONE!!!!!!!

This is a great game for the Wii. Although it feels all too familiar from past Mario Kart games, the Wii and the provided wheel bring a whole new experience to the game. A definite must-have for your Wii library. Great for the young and the old.
What's great about it: Cool wheel -- Lots of vehicles and tracks -- Great multiplayer
What's not so great: Need multiple wheels to get full experience

I waited for this game for 5 months now but this game is way worth the wait! Not only is there 16 new tracks, but 16 remakes of older tracks. This game is rediculiousy addicting. The Wii Wheel does feel a bit loose and hard to control at first, but it really takes adjusting to it. If you know how to drift in real life driving, you know how to drift with the wheel. This Game is a sure hit and butt loads of fun. I strongly recommend this game.
What's great about it: More Tracks, More Characters, More items, but the most exciting is Online Play.
What's not so great: The graphics seem to be like Gamecube version, and the Wheel seems a bit loose.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A lot of fun!! I spent hours playing it with my 8 year old. It plays much better than previous versions. Can play on the same team or against each other, split screen is easily definable. It’s Definitely worth getting.
What's great about it: Great vehicle control, great graphics
What's not so great: slow wifi connection

Mario Kart Wii is an excellent game for new people, and fans of the series. It introduces the addition of bikes, air tricks, and most importantly online play. It is easy to jump in and play anyone in the world, and see how well you stack up againt the rest of the Mario Kart community. The wheel itself is no match for the original gamecube controller for seasoned Mario Kart racers, but is easy to learn and sure to appeal to new players. The courses look great, however most of them are repeat courses from previous games. There are now 12 racers instead of 8, and the number of items has increased as well. The AI still has a knack for messing you over near the end of every race, but this is something that has been in every Mario Kart game. This is a must own for every Wii owner.
What's great about it: Great Online Play, Slick Graphics, Bikes and Tricks
What's not so great: Unfair AI Item Usage
