I played this game a lot on Super Nintendo and while this version has better graphics, more cars and better tracks I'm extremely disappointed and shocked that there is no way to unlock anything in multiplayer mode. I'm not the type of person that can sit down and play hours of video games by myself. I only play with friends.
I'm shocked that Nintendo let this get past them.
What's great about it: Great to play with friends.
What's not so great: No unlockables in multiplayer mode.
I would recommend this to a friend!

funnest wii game ever

this is by far the funnest wii game i own. it is a real fun mario game. i aint really a big fan of mario, but this changed it forever. i am also glad that it comes with a wii wheel. thsi is my second fav racing game behind forza 3 for the 360. if u luv mario or racing, buy this. great job nintendo. it wud be awsome if u made a 2nd mari kart nintendo.
What's great about it: fun, great tracks, fun mutiplayer, cool kars, another great mario game
What's not so great: using the wheel takes some getting used to
I would recommend this to a friend!

This game is exactly what you would expect. Anyone who has played KartRider online will be pleased with this knockoff.
What's great about it: quick delivery, box in good condition
What's not so great: addicting!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Wii Game!

Overall the game is fun and easy to learn and play. The steering wheel controller makes it easier to control your character over the normal Wii remote controller. I would recommend this product if you play this game a lot.
What's great about it: wheel makes playing MarioKart much smoother than a normal controller
I would recommend this to a friend!

We tried this out on New Year's Eve with another couple (all of us 50-somethings). After a few rounds, we were pros; laughed and raced till midnight.
Game is pretty straight forward - pick a character, pick a vehicle, race around increasingly difficult tracks dodging obstacles. Can be played as individuals or on teams with other Mario characters.
The courses were fun and exciting, with chances for power-ups to go faster or slip up other racers. On some tracks you can fall off into the abyss, but are gently replaced on the track so you can keep going. This is the best Wii game we have tried.
Wheel is totally unnecesary; just tilt the Wii controller up and down for steering.
What's great about it: Easy to use with challenging courses.
What's not so great: Wheel is just a waste of plastic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My son and daugher love this game...they are 4 and 8. My husband also loves this game.....it's great for all ages
