I'm an owner of GH2, GH3 and Rock Band, all on Xbox 360. So I when I heard GH was coming to the Nintendo DS I pre-ordered that very same day! I got it today and was very excited to start playing but was almost immediately disappointed by some of the controls. First as others have mentioned the buttons are small. I've already experienced several times where one finger hits two keys and I miss the note. On top of that it seems that the buttons need to be positioned further 'up' on the DS. I hold the DS in my left hand. The natural position of the DS in my palm causes my pointer (green button) finger to rest too high, beyond the frets. This is because the DS has to be perpendicular to your hand, it would work better if it were slightly angled. Lastly a problem I've experienced a few times adjusting my grip is that occasionally the Guitar Grip comes lose from the GB Advance slot. causing the game to give an error message and freeze. If you LOVE GH you'll like GH On Tour. But buyer beware. They've got some bugs to work out
What's great about it: Hello! Guitar Hero you can take anywhere!
What's not so great: Small Buttons, akward angle, detaches too easily

This is a great game to have if you are a fan of the big console versions of Guitar Hero. It's great to know that you can take the game with you anywhere you go. I love the fact that if I'm in a doctors office or on a plane trip I can just take the game out and play. It's a great way to pass the time away. In response to the person that said that one of the cons is that the graphics are not that great well of course they aren't because it is on the DS. The DS does not have the best graphics. But the concept and game play is awesome and I highly recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the game!
What's great about it: Having an awesome game at your fingertips at all times

This GH for the DS is just great. Your favorite music game at the palm of your hand. Though most songs in On Tour were already featured in previous GH titles.
What's great about it: Good way to kill time!
What's not so great: No guitar controller, most songs already featured.

this game is fun. it's a really good way to kill time. but its not the same compared to the real guitar hero deal. i mean, with GH On Tour, its just pushing buttons and touching a touch screen. But despite that, its a really good game
What's great about it: great time killer
What's not so great: doesnt have the guitar hero spark we know and love

This game is great.Although there were some slight changes from the regular Guitar Hero you were used to.They have instead decided to make a Guitar Hero that you can take anywhere at anytime. So they have made a Guitar grip including an additional pick stylus.Although they tried to make the guitar similar to a handheld portable device...they could not put all 5 frets on the grip which is a little disappointing. But, great overall. You're wrist may start to hurt during the middle of a song...to get rid of that..all you basically have to do is take a quick 5 minute break if it starts aching..... otherwise you can experience some pain in the wrist. But,overall i'd give this game a two thumbs-up and a rate of 5 over 5!!!
What's great about it: Responds to every strum you perform on the touch screen.
What's not so great: Wrist starts aching for a while.Only 4 fret buttons.
