Picture failture

Bought this tv in april of 2014 and 10 months later no picture but their is sound. A possible t-con failure. I will be happier when they fix it under warranty this week
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

Great Picture/Short life span

Really loved the picture and functions of Samsung TV's, my problem is this is the second TV I have had to buy in two years. My previous Samsung failed after 14 months, an hour before the Thanksgiving Day football game and this Samsung model failed after 13 months and 4 days. As a side note I have had three Samsung dvd players fail shortly after the warranty had expired. They seem to be excellent products for the first 12 months but do not last much longer than that.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, beautiful color and picture
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, extremely short life span
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 2 quite new Samsung TV's - a 39" & 60"

The picture is very clear on both TV's. All the features are great. Before I bought the 60", I had another 46" Samsung HD TV for 12 years. Decided to get the bigger TV for our large great room.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Love my new TV

This was a gift from my daughter - Love it!!! She felt we needed a bigger TV and she was right. This one has excellent clarity.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

My TV after a year

I bought this TV about a year ago and I could not be happier. It was so easy to set up and the picture is pure and just beautiful. The sound is great too. I love this TV.

I had the television for just under a year and now the screen is totally black. I didn't expect this to happen, my previous television lasted for over 15 yrs. and then some.
I made calls to have the unit service being that it is under a 1 yr. warranty.
I hope my experience is going to be a positive one.
Plans on following up with my review based on the outcome.
