We bought this TV to replace an older 32 inch model and was immediately surprised by the picture quality. The colors are rich and clear giving everything a fresh, crisp quality that made it a pleasure to watch. The sound quality is great with both speech and music always being clear and easily understandable.
The only problem we encountered was that the screen started going black for no reason and the only way to get it back was to power it off then back on. This turned out to be a faulty screen and Samsung replaced it immediately with no hassle and it's worked without fault ever since.
Overall, I'm exceptionally happy with this TV and would certainly recommend this model to anyone looking for a good quality TV that in my opinion gives great value for money.
Picture was pretty good out of the box in standard factory setting .Turned onLED backlight control and was even better and then switched to movie mode and tweaked the contrast, sharp and bright controls slightly and a truly superb picture resulted. A wide viewing angle about the 50 degree angle before any fade out and that was very slight.
Cons: bass annoying on sound use clear voice setting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this TV so much that I purchased a new Samsung 65 inch for the Living Room.
After five months of viewing with this TV, the picture goes black. We have trouble shooted all the steps to no avail. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It should be recalled.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no picture
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After nearly a year of flawless performance, I am extremely pleased with the value I received. I have used it with a direct cable connection (no set top box) and it not only displays every channel available clearly, but even receives all the sub-channels (like HD channels). I have also used this TV as a computer monitor often because it is so light, it is easy to move from its normal perch on a TV stand to a table or desk top, allowing multiple viewers to easily see the computer display.
Overall i was scared to try transitioning into the hd tv phase of tech. Oh boy am i glad i did, with its marvelous colors and fast motion capturing i quickly fell in love with this TV for my gaming set up.i won't hesitate picking up a few more to expand my system out i don't even mind the one flaw of not having a headphone jack.
