Well designed note-taking tablet

I have had this tablet since May 2013. It has decent battery life and the screen is view-able in daylight. I use it for work and taking notes while meeting with clients. It syncs seamlessly with my dropbox, gmail and most other accounts. I also use it for GPS while driving. The 8" screen as a GPS is amazing and the response from Google Maps is so much better then my Garmin.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight

Great Tablet

Was looking at getting the 10.1, but decided to get the 8.0. Great size and works like a charm. This is great for work and note taking........

I got this tablet a few days ago as an early Christmas gift and I cannot put it down. The S Pen is great for sketching. I wanted this mainly because I'm an artist and thought it would be great for when I start school again. Everything works perfectly, including the WatchOn app. The note 8.0 has everything I need.
* I did the update and there are no problems. The battery drains quickly but only when apps are running in the background. Double clicking the back button to exit an app helps a bit.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, s pen, great for artists

I have the Galaxy Tab 7.0 and loved it, but the SPen really gets me. So I had to have this one. LOVE it so far. I love the smaller size, it really fits well in the hand and is much more comfortable to use than the 10.1. I have had one of those and that is why I purchased the 7.0. The pen works almost flawlessly for every application I've put it to. I've had a little bit of trouble with the write to text option, but it may work itself out when I get more familiar with the program. There is quite a bit of bloatware, but nothing I can't deal with. I would like to see more accessories at launch too... I want my device protected from moment one.

I can't leave the house without my Samsung Galaxy Note® 8.0 (Wi-Fi), my new bestfriend!!!! Not only will it connect with all my other Samsung Products wirelessly, but my tivo, and xbox too!!! So LOVVVVEEEEEEEEEEE

Better camera would of been even better

I pretty much knew what to expect before I purchased my Note 8, so I was not too surprised. What I didn't expect is how much more it grew on me and now we're almost inseparable. I felt that the device could of been even better if the ppi's were much, much higher and a much higher resolution camera. 5 MP is what my 3 yr old mobile phone has. Bottom line, I'm satisfied...for now.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

Got this tablet for my brother, I'm glad I did, he loved it and so did I. I will buy another one for me, the tablet is beautifully designed, the screen looks nice not 1080p but it looks crisp and sharp, I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I love the Note 8.0

This is my first tablet, and I am madly in love. The consistent Samsung look and feel is a huge plus. The screen resolution is clear, the battery life is good, and the S pen is a cool gadget. I need to learn more about how to use the S pen, but I'm liking it so far. The only downside is that covers aren't available yet - I'm worried about scratching the camera lens in the back. It would get 5 stars if a case was available.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, intuitive design esp. if u have other samsung item
Cons: cover not available yet!
