These graphics suck so bad. they are ps2 graphics at best. when you switch to third person you look so mechanical running around. I wouldn't recommend this game to people that I don't like.
What's great about it: Nada, Zip, Zero.
What's not so great: The whole game stinks
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

oh my god im sad i got this. first of all the gameplay itself is bad but i walked away from the game when i got stuck in a building. you get trapped because you need skill to pick locks at least in oblivion you could always pick the locks. there is auto aim but it doesnt work. everyone looks the same and i hate the things the bad guys say what were the writters thinking were they trying to be funny or are they just dummies. the graphics are so bad its funny. why is it so hard to stay alive do they think its fun to die. i got stuck in the chryslus building (dumb name they should have called it chryses like crisis) and i was on actually a pretty high level. i dont know why i played this for as long as i did. if you dont auto aim and just fight enemies regularly it looks even worse. every living thing there can take many bullets to the head and still function perfecly. you can make it third person view but it looks so bad when you walk and even more annoying if your legs are crippled. thats right you can become crippled again is this supposed to make it fun? if your "head gets crippled" the screen is distorted and you cannot see until you apply a stimpack directly to the forehead i imagine. it says sleeping makes it better but that is a plain lie. the main reason i got this was because of the setting how it was 50s and like wasteland around you but get this the game is set in 2277. they do not explain why everything looks old. i thought wasteland would be creepy and exciting but its boring and depressing. you have karma for chrissake. karma doesnt mean anything. karma isnt real. you can only do certain things if you have good or bad karma. there are invisible walls that dont let you go to certain areas. i guess i could name a FEW good things about this piece of rubbish. actually not really. DONT GET THISSSSSSSSSSSSS
What's great about it: fun if you like minus fun
What's not so great: you will be so dissapointed

This is a great game. I would know because I know a ton about video games and how they should be delivered. This game delivers all that you would expect and more, with its strong story and gameplay. VATS blew my mind. The humor in such a grim tale adds to the overall experience.
What's great about it: It was made by Bethesda
What's not so great: They aren't making the sequel
I would recommend this to a friend!

Im not a big fan of shooter games. But i thaught fallout was gonna be awesome so i rented it and took it back the next day. The graphics were awesome but the game suxed other than that. Yea the beggining was fun you got to create a guy and do all these activities. But after you get out into the open the game is pointless. Its like Grand Theft Auto the first one. All you do is go around and kill people/things. While you are doing this your supposed to be looking for your dad who left but you will never find him its impossiable. There is no missions at all no map nothing so you have no clue where your going. Its just retarted. So dont waste your money and buy this game. Buy Halo 3, Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009, NBA 2K9, Battlefield Bad Company, or Viva Pinita anything but this game.
What's great about it: The Grphaics
What's not so great: There is no gameplay, boring. die to easily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fallout 3 is the most god-awful video game that I've played so far. I don't like the dark areas, since there are a lot of them (sounds like another video game that I know of). If you love jumping graphics, get this game ... otherwise, don't touch it. The story is kind-of interesting. I like the plot of a post-apocalyptic Washington, D.C., since I live in Alexandria, VA. Gamers might not like what I have to say with my opinion about this game, but I wouldn't go buy this one, since the video game just plain sucks. I give this game 1 out of 10 stars. I just guess Fallout "failed out".
What's great about it: Game is good for those who like it
What's not so great: Graphics are very poor, runs terrible. 1 out of 10 rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok do not buy this game i just spent 8hrs just walking around and talking to people and constantly being killed..You cant get anything to heal you they dont tell you how to look up anything..the aim on the gun is attrocius.my guy wasnt even pointing the gun in the right direction.takes forever to get anywhere as far as the story mode goes becuz you have to pay everyone for information but yet you have no money.you have no power to do anything becuz its usually 12 on 1 attacks. I took out the disc and broke it in half..if you wanna waste your money go ahead this is perfect for that...but otherwise save your 20 bucks buy yourself something NICE
What's great about it: Nothing..NOTHING NOTHING!!!!!!!!
What's not so great: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure how someone can play for 5 minutes then give a review. In 5 minutes I doubt he even made it out of the Fallout Vault. Don't expect just a shooter with mutants running at you nonstop. There's way more to this game. Yes there's alot of people & mutants to blow away with cool weapons, sick targeting system, and skills you leveled up to, but the game isn't just that. Its more a Role Playing Adventure with Shooting. You can do what you want as you want. Want to be a Nice, or do you want to be a Post Apocalyptic Bad guy, blowing away everyone in sight and dining on them (yes, you can do that). I've played about 12 hours and I have'nt even scratched the surface of this world. Its HUGE! Most games in my opinion are to short and have little appeal to play again. This is the complete opposite. Game of the Year so far!
What's great about it: Looks Great, Huge World to Explore, You Decide How To Play
What's not so great: Not much. A few graphic glitches
I would recommend this to a friend!
