these phones are well maid easy to repair very durable price point comparable to simular products on the market software before its time

Great phone - standard bearer for 2013

This phone was extremely good. It was reliable and worked well. The only problem was that the screen shattered when I dropped it. Later, I stepped on it and the micro SD card heated up.
Pros: Bright display, good size
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small package small expectations

I have owned and operated every major Samsung phone since the Epic. This model falls short of EVERY expectation. The phone runs out of space from day one. It already had 6 GB of 16 GB used out of the box. The pictures are cloudy and dark. The phone simply does not live up to my expectations. The speaker is not memorable. It does take a lickin and keep on tickin.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, over bloated
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I haved this phone since the galaxy 5 came out and it's been through a lot! I have dropped it multiple times on concrete, in corral pins, and it's flown out of my handstuff while on amy atv. But as we all know that at some point every phone has its end but I finally tore up my old and first one, I asked for another s4 just because of this particular reason.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

Samsung S4 after iPhone 4s

There has been a bit of a learning curve. I am not used to no t having stock apps not perform well and the system lag. I had a 5 meg camera with iPhone and now I have 13 on S4 but it is not a fast camera--it does not open quickly nor does it capture quickly. The ISO seems slow so that motion is blurred. Why not have a sport setting like many cameras? The stock app for texting was terrible, it would not open half the time and was slow the rest of the time. I tried 3 different texting apps before finding one which performs well. There are features I like, but it is difficutl to not wonder what I have got myself into. Battery power I hoped would be better and is not. So many Samsung apps without my asking or knowing what they even are. It was cheaper, screen is bigger. Stock calendar I like better.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, volume is good
Cons: slow, low battery life, sd card essential add on

Love This Phone.

I must admit that I was a iPhone user since they first came out. But I always was a fan of Samsung products. I didn't want to change but I had to much trouble with battery life would not ho.ld a charge. So I tried Samsung Galaxy. And I must admit I am 100% satisfied with the change Samsung makes everything easier to download in your phone and program it. And the picture is much clearer and brighter it's just easier to use and I won't be going back to my iPhone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
