The Best Smartphone Yet

I actually like this better in the hand than the HTC One.
First Samsung Phone since the sch-i830 which was a great phone. I have been on HTC ever since, but I must have a field replaceable battery and a micro SD card slot.
Many other phones do not, so I don't use them.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, blistering performance, great rellability, good battery life and it is repalceable in the fi, micro sd accommodates 64gb
Cons: display not so good in bright sun

Excellent Piece of Technology.

I have been using the Galaxy S4 for about a month now. It works very well with my other Samsung Electronics. I am able to watch movies that I have stored on my microSD Card on my Samsung television. I am impressed by the ability to collaborate with these items.
It is very easy to set up, transfering all the imformation from one phone to another has proven easy with everything under the Android Operating System.
These unit is a quantum leap in ability for those of us that have to wait for our 2 year contracts to expire before we upgrade. This was a true upgrade from my Nexus S 4G.
All of the things that made me wish I had something else have been corrected. I am reluctant to call this item I hold comfortably in my hand, a phone. It is so much more.

Good surprises

I've had the S4 for a little over a month now and am very pleased. I kept my last phone for over 2 years and hope this one will last as long if not longer. I was surprised with the SIM card (I have Sprint) even though I shouldn't have been. Haven't tried a different card yet but will attempt it in Europe this summer. The IR Blaster is fun...didn't think I'd ever use it but have actually used it a few times and it's very easy to program. I'm still learning all the features but so far it's worked great. The Camera isn't as good as I'd like...quality is good so I'm sure it's something I'm doing. Haven't successfully used the drama shot yet...too many moving "things" in the background.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Almost perfect, just a few complaints

I got this as a (complete) surprise from my wife, and I cannot rave about this phone enough, but there are a few issues. All the little things that felt incomplete on the S3, have been ironed out here. The issues lie in the Samsung programs. They take up WAY too much memory as my 16gb has 9.5 free. Now there is a few I would and do use, but wow... That's a lot of memory. I know it has an SD card, but that isn't good for much beyond pictures and music. Games nowadays can push 1gb. All in all this phone is a beast. I love the display settings and all the ironing out they did. We do need to let Samsung know we appreciate their hard work, but when almost half my memory is taken up, we need a choice on it too.
Also, the camera is not set to 13MP by default. By playing with the settings for 10 minutes, this camera is an unstoppable beast!!!

Awesome Phone

I recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the S4 and I love it! I am so glad I chose the S4 over the HTC One & IPhone 5. The screen is beautiful and big enough for my four year old son to watch Netflix while we are out shopping or eating at a restaurant. The battery life is decent. The build of the phone is a lot sturdier and nicer than the S3. I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who loves a great smartphone. Good job Samsung :)

Amazing camera, light weight and great size, but not too happy with the frame of the phone, chips easily!!

I moved from the "other" product to Samsung Galaxy because of the bigger screen. I like that the windows when you scroll go in a continuous circle. I like the Samsung Hub app which I use ALL the time and I can set up most of the options. My FAVORITE thing is the Messaging and the microphone talking option. What I don't like are some of the applications that are available. Why do I have to open the calendar to see the date? Why isn't that on the icon? Why does EasyMoneyLite require me to move to the next page to find a decimal point? The apps leave a lot to be desired.
