I have the Galaxy S4. Some family members have I phones and I had a chance to compare them.
The I phone is much more difficult to find and use apps and such. It has to small of a screen. The S4 has better apps like Samsung Link which I use all the time. By far the Galaxy phones are much superior to apple phones.

Overall I like this phone alot. It seemed to be the best phone out on the market at the time that best suited my needs. Has way more features then I could ever need. One of the best features that gets overlooked is the watch on app and built in infa red remote. It enables you to use your cell phone on pretty much any tv. Very useful in public. The only reason it got 4 stars overall instead of 5 is because I had to send my first one back after about 8 months due the phone crashing. It was covered under the 1 year factory waranty. The new phone I received started having problems with the microphone, but was fixed with a hard factory reset. I believe all cell phone manufactures have problems with some of their phones. No one is perfect.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, infa red sender, nfc

I love my new Galaxy S4. It takes great pictures and is very easy to use. I love that you can wirelessly transfer media from the phone to the computer and visa versa. I was very easy to learn to use. I have used the tutorials on the website to figure out anything that I needed help with. Great phone!

I enjoy my Samsung S4...its my new best bud!
Easy to use features, and so many too; It's like I find a new one everyday. And the settings allow for it to be completely customizable...whether you want to use voice activation, or just simply tap away. The security features are nice, and are available at different levels...the power saving settings are really nice too; helps save on your battery life; which brings me to the Samsung charger...super fast. I never hav a problem with my phone going dead.

I was a die hard iPhone user until July 2013. I decided to give the Galaxy S4 a try because of 2 simple reasons: bigger display and expandable memory. Well, I was absolutely blown away when I started using my new S4. I wasn't expecting such a smooth running, quick, & innovative device; BOY WAS I SURPRISED! This phone absolutely rocks! I will NEVER again touch an iPhone!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, the phone rocks!

The Galaxy s4 goes far beyond an iPhone's quality

I got the galaxy s4 in July of 2013 and from the moment I turned it on it was super fast. This being my first Android device I didn't know what to expect but I was astonished by how smooth it was and how much quicker it was than an iPhone! And after many months of using it I also noticed that my battery life was about twice as good as the iPhone (I get about 18 hours out of it) and the s4 is as fast as it was on day one, and hasn't slowed down or frozen like the iPhone did. Also, the internal micro SD card is a huge advantage because i quickly used up the 16GB memory but then i just put a 32GB SD card in. That is a feature I will never give up! My only real complaint about this phone would maybe be that it isn't made of Kevlar or aluminum like many new phones are being made of. However, this has shown to be a remarkably durable phone even though its made of plastic, it fell onto concrete from about 3 feet and it wasn't even damaged. Overall I am really pleased with the phone and I will definitely be staying with the Samsung brand for my next tablet or smartphone!

Cons: the speaker is on the back of the phone, its made of plastic, too many features

It may just be me but there are features on this phone I haven't been able to use because nothing comes with an owners manual anymore. They have to be downloaded. I dont want to have to print 100 pages or stare at a computer to figure out my phone. For the money I pay for these products I want a real manual.

Cons: Not high def, cant see display in sunlight

Nice performance in a compact package. Camera takes good pix and video. Wish the camera booted up faster and took less time to take the picture, though.
