During my time with the galaxy s4 with Samsung touch wiz operating system over android 5.0.1 lollipop, I experienced very decent performance. Wish the hill quality was a little more sturdy but overall a very decent phone for the price. Would highly recommend for someone on a budget
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I got this phone two years ago, it was the first time I'd ever bought the "new, hot" phone. I figured in doing so, the technology might not be totally outdated when the 2 year contract period ended. I'm from the generation where if it still works, you keep it.
Well, the technology is still pretty well intact, but the phone's performance is failing. I'm not hard on my phone.I don't use it for gaming and I don't have even one song loaded on it. I don't open emails that are unfamiliar, or zip files from anyone. I keep it in an Otterbox cover and use a screen protector. It still looks new.
Unfortunately it it has slowly developed a dementia-like personality. I can hit the camera button and up comes the weather. It will take 8 screenshots within seconds while sitting idle in my purse. It has called so many people randomly I've become known to my friends as The Pocket Dialer. Twice in the past week it has completely died, gone totally black screen, unable to be rescussitated even by removing and reinstalling the battery. Then the next day it suddenly comes back to life. Oh, it erased my sd card too. All my saved pictures gone in an instant. Thank goodness for the cloud. Now it appears to be working more or less fine again.
Needless to say, I am once again in the market for a new cell phone. For the first time in my life, I'm not keeping the old one one as a back-up. Something which costs as much as this did new should last longer than 2 years.
Pros: Lightweight, good battery life
Cons: lasted only 2 years, screen hard to see in daylight, not enough internal storage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
