This is going to be a long 2 year contract

This phone has no sound volume to speak of....I had the droid bionic prior to this phone which hands down is a far better phone than this GS4. I downloaded the same apps I had on my bionic and soon had to delete every app which wasn't much in order to use this phone. I can't stand the picture gallery constantly having to announce " the check box is checked" for every picture I choose and internet explorer announces "the page is loading" "the page is now loaded"...you can't turn talk back off in some areas. I like the talk back feature in some programs but not all...even when I turned talk back off it still announces in gallery and internet explorer. My droid bionic I had separate volume profiles, no need with this phone!!!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad sound volume, no talk back control
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this phone for about 2 weeks now and couldnt be happier i was torn between this and the htc one, let me tell you make no mistake go with the s4 its display is absolutely gorgeous to use and all the features it comes packed with are a huge plus, so many that im still trying to learn half the stuff. Overall its a great phone for any person for any situation. Perfect Size, Perfect Display, Perfect Performance, Perfect Cost! Now stop reading reviews and go buy one!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

It is an impressive smartphone, and Ideal for everyday users, as well as tech junkies like myself. It has a plethora of amazing features, and for anything it can't do (which isn't much) there are apps to solve it. I'd say its best features are its great display, speed, and personalization capabilities. If I have to say anything negative, it'd be the phone does get a little warm with extended use, probably due to the massive processor in the phone, but not hot enough to burn you or damage anything. Just be sure to be closing apps that are running in the background to save battery as well as keep it cool. Another drawback would be it is a little fragile, definitely get a solid case for this phone because the back plastic feels a little cheap, and slippery, but with a nice case it works amazing. Overall A+ the benefits of this phone far far outweigh the cons. Would love to test further Samsung devices against this one. It definitely sets the bar.

Cons: fragile w/out case, back is slippery, battery life

Love it, but.....

My old phone had two separate ring tones - one for receipt of a call and the other for receipt of a text. Both were downloads I purchased. I could not transfer them from my old phone to new and had to repurchase. Then I found out you can only use the "canned" choices of ring tones for receipt of text. This makes no sense. The "canned" choices do not play long enough to be readily noticed. I have the volume set to the highest setting, but can't feel the vibration if the phone is in my pocket and often cannot hear the text alert.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got this phone today and am loving it so far. Verizon has them in the back. You just have to ask for them
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, not iphone

Still trying to figure out everything that it will do but love what I see with just one drawback. Sometimes have to resend text message because the first time fails. Not sure of the reason but if I hit resend 9 out of 10 times goes right out the. Use it for work home and play.

Not Verizon Pre-Paid Compatible

I purchased a Verizon Samsung S4 to use on a Verizon pre-paid service and found that all Verizon Prepaid services are 3G. Even though the Samsung S4 is also 3G, none of the prepaid services can hand the S4. I had to return the S4 and get another phone. It is too bad, because the prepaid services prices are as low as $30 a month, without a contract, after purchasing the phone myself.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, great capability
Cons: not compatible with verizon prepaid service
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
